I moved into Silverstone Court on 6th December 2023.    

I’m very happy to be situated on the second floor. You wouldn’t believe how quiet these flats are. You shut your own front door and  you are in your own little bit of the world.  You can cook, you can go down to the laundry and do your washing and drying (no extra charge).

We all have pull cords in every room. These are necessary when you are a little mature!  There may come a time when you need to pull it if you’re not well and need assistance and it’s very reassuring. So many pluses to living at Silverstone Court.

In the summer you can take advantage of the beautiful garden. There is lovely seating and I very often take my lunch down and enjoy the surroundings. It’s great because no work is involved unless you want to. The gardeners come regularly and it’s kept beautifully.   

There are regular events but there is no pressure you can join or not. On Wednesday I always take advantage of the Silverstone Cafe at lunchtime and very often invite friends who don’t live here to come.  Saves me making !!
