Tree of Life
OUR TREE OF LIFE – ETZ CHAYIM Pride of place in the communal entrance hall at Silverstone Court is given to the Etz Chayim - our Tree of Life. This beautifully framed artwork features a strong tree trunk adorned with golden leaves delicately set along its branches. Originally displayed in the synagogue at Andrew Cohen House, the Jewish nursing home that was sold in 2023, the tree was later relocated to Silverstone Court, where it now stands as a cherished focal point. I moved into Silverstone Court on 6th December 2023. I’m very happy to be situated on the second floor. You wouldn’t believe how quiet these flats are. You shut your own front door and you are in your own little bit of the world. You can cook, you can go down to the laundry and do your washing and drying (no extra charge). We all have pull cords in every room. These are necessary when you are a little mature! There may come a time when you need to pull it if you’re not
