The Birmingham Jewish Housing Association Ltd (BJHA) was founded in 1946 to meet the housing needs of the Jewish community in Birmingham. Built on principles of compassion, inclusion, and service, BJHA has grown into a trusted provider of secure, affordable, and high-quality accommodation for individuals and families for nearly eight decades.
While originally established to support the specific cultural, religious, and social needs of the local Jewish community, BJHA has always maintained a spirit of openness and diversity. Today, the Association provides housing and support services to individuals of all backgrounds, fostering a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for all residents.
BJHA creates a setting where residents can maintain independence while benefiting from thoughtful amenities and community support. Kay Workman
Housing & Business Manager
Kay is responsible for ensuring that Birmingham Jewish Housing Association is well managed, financially secure, legally compliant and committed to delivering high-quality housing services. She works closely with residents, staff, trustees, contractors and external agencies, providing a vital link between them to ensure Silverstone Court runs smoothly today, while continuing to meet the needs of residents in the future.
With many years of experience in the social housing sector, Kay will be your first point of contact if you apply to join our waiting list and if successful, are offered a home at Silverstone Court.
Emmy Foulkes
Scheme Manager
Emmy is responsible for the day-to-day management of Silverstone Court. He provides practical support to residents, co-ordinates services, resolves day-to-day issues and helps ensure that residents can continue to live independently with dignity, security and confidence.
With extensive experience in health and social care, Emmy is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where residents feel valued and well cared for.
