Safeguarding
At BJHA, safeguarding means protecting individuals’ health, wellbeing, and human rights—ensuring they live free from harm, abuse, and neglect.
We are committed to creating a safe environment for everyone we support. Safeguarding involves taking proactive steps to reduce risk and promote safety.
This includes helping individuals access appropriate support services—such as healthcare providers, social services, or specialist charities—and working with them to develop action plans that promote wellbeing and reduce the risk of harm.

How Do We Support Tenants?
As a social landlord, we take our responsibility seriously to ensure our tenants are safe and supported in their homes.
Our teams work closely with residents to promote safe, independent living while maintaining their tenancies. All staff are trained to identify potential safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action when issues are identified.
